Surrounded by the lake of Lauerz-, Zug- and Lake of Lucerne passenger flights from the Rigi offer a beautiful and varying scenery. On clear days you will have a view into the Alps, over the Middlelands of Switzerland all the way into the Jura mountains. From the Rigi it is possible to start in all four compass directions and with a maximum vertical descent of up to 4200 ft the Rigis is on of the favourite paragliding spots in Switzerland.

Travel using public transportation: Ideal connections using public transportation (e.g. from Lucerne in 20 and from Zurich in 40 minutes) Arrival by car: Leave the freeway using the exit Goldau. Drive toward the town of and turn right after about 900m (signpost reads Bahnhof). Follow the street straight for about 300 meters to the train station. Public parking is available there.

Travel using public transportation: Arth-Goldau is easier to reach. You can take a bus from Küssnacht in direction of Weggis or you can board a boat from Lucerne that will stop in Weggis. The walk to the aerial cablecar will take you about 15 minutes.
Arrival by car: Drive from Küssnacht toward Vitznau on the main road until you enter a short tunnel. About 20 meters after the tunnel you turn right and follow the signposts to the vally stations of the aerial cablecar Weggis-Kaltbad.
