The legendary Pilatus (7000 ft) offers the highest take off spots in the heart of Switzerland and a phenomal view. The "Top flight" takes you over striking cliffs, gentle forest hills, past the deep blue waters of the lake of Lucerne and often still allows time for an excursion over roofs of the city of Lucerne.
If the Pilatus due to snow and weather related conditions does not offer flight possibilities, we suggest an alternative flight from the Gemsstock near the town of Andermatt. The soft rolling snow covered scenery and impressive high alpine mountain world has a charm of its own for paragliding passengers.

Travel by public transportation:

Take the bus No. 1 from the main train station Lucerne in direction of Kriens. Leave the bus at the stop "Linde-Pilatus" (11 minutes). Follow the path just right of the St. Gallus church. The pedestrian path (5-10 minutes) is marked with small blue signposts.

Arrival by car:

Leave the A2 freeway at exit Luzern-Kriens (No. 27). Follow the main road in directaion of "Kriens Zentrum". There are signposts leading to the valley station of the Pilatus aerial cable car from the freeway exit on.

Follow the signposts from the train station Andermatt to the valley station of the areial cable car to the Gemsstock.

Arrival by car:

Go into the center of the town Andermatt and drive through the town in direction of Hospental. The valley station is on the right hand side just as you leave the town.
